Job purpose :
The incumbent of the role will be in charge of Digital Marketing, Research & Customer Insights, Data Analytics, Online Campaigns, Social and Mobile Marketing.
Key Accountabilities:
• Establish UBA Cameroon web presence and boost brand awareness
• Social Media strategy; social engagement, social listening, boost brand awareness
• Creative development and execution
• To ensure reporting across all campaigns
• Collaborate with other Departments to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
• Coordinate the conception and implementation of all internal and external digital communication drives
• Support in organization of company events internal and external
• Carry out other adhoc tasks as assigned management
• Provide up-to-date content management support (i.e., information submission and uploading) for the UBA Group website.
• Develop compelling and engaging digital marketing communication materials and content for the website and social media platforms.
• Ensure visuals and graphics for the website and social media platforms are in line with the brand requirements.
• Develop and initiate plans to grow social media assets and increase website visitations.
• To provide content relevant to the brand that could feed to the UBA website
• Provide project support. Ensure your website is well managed and up to date
Qualification required: Minimum education level: Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing or any other relevant discipline. Relevant Certifications will be an advantage.
Experience required: Minimum experience: 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar role with a proven track record.
Key Competencies:
Knowledge
 Daily updates to the website to include currency rate update, Shares information, other news and product news
 Ensure constant engagement and interaction on all digital platforms.
 Manage the day-to-day activities of marketing campaigns, product campaigns to ensure the smooth running on all platforms throughout the campaign period.
 Ensure customers are well informed on the bank’s product using visuals and graphics on social media.
 Ensure external communications on traditional media are in sync with information on the website and social media platforms.
 Prepare both weekly and monthly reports to measure impact of promotions, website visitations, increase in social media followership, content engagement etc.
 Online research- Competitive Market analysis. Content research. Consumerism research.
 Social media management- Management of all of the banks social media portals. Route and deployments manager- budgets and vendor relations.
 SEO management- Boosting page numbers through search engine management and optimization.
 Trend Spotting-Curating daily online trends and leveraging those in creating communications.

 Strong communication skills in English and French
 Ability to carry out competitive research
 Ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously within tight timescales
 Diplomatic with the antennae to manage organizational cultural sensitivities
 Ability to work under pressure and deliver on agreed timeline
 Good team leader and team player as the case may be
