Our Client, subsidiary of a multinational company specialized in Oil and Gas sector, is recruiting a Maintenance Technician to accompany the development of its activities in Cameroon.

Deputy/Progression: Maintenance Tech.

Marine Equivalent:  3rd/ 4th  Engineer

Responsibility & Accountability

The Maintenance Technicians (Utilities) are responsible for the day-to-day running of the Utility systems, maintenance of all equipment within their discipline, and to support and assist marine and liquefaction as required.

The Maintenance Technician (Topsides) is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the Process systems equipment within their discipline, and to support and assist marine, liquefaction and utilities as required.

He is the Materials Co-ordinator and is responsible for inventory management & materials co-ordination. He/she is the single point of contact with all offshore departments and onshore, for procurement, tracking / expediting of materials.

He is The Electrical Technician and is responsible for the safe and efficient operations of all electrical systems and the maintenance of all equipment onboard within their discipline.

He / She is responsible for ensuring that all spares, consumables and tools are available to perform the maintenance tasks and is responsible for the Electrical Hazardous Area Equipment Register and it’s continuous updating.

He is The Instrument Technician and is responsible for assisting in the Operations of the

Utility Equipment and maintenance of the Instrument Equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical qualification or STCW Certificates.
• Minimum 3 calendar years experience from LNGC / FSRU’s / FPSO’s or oil & gas facilities.
• Materials Coordinator – Technical / Trade background. Min 2 yrs inventory management experience offshore in oil & gas industry. Min. 2 yrs purchasing / expediting experience or equivalent education training. Broad knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment and construction support materials and support.
